Fashion designer’s ateliers and little shops with nice vintage collections are getting bigger and bigger with time. And the trend of wearing unique pieces, carefully selected and with history behind is getting more and more popular everywhere, especially in Barcelona. But there’s a vintage dream near Sants Station!
Mireya is a kind social worker who has left aside her profession for a while to fully dedicate herself to her passion. A bit away from the city centre and the typical tourist circuits, located in Sants and very close to Sants Station, she has just opened an atelier which is a dream for vintage clothes lovers. Neko Vintage Clothes is a space where both old pieces (which she brings directly from Japan or Korea) and some of her own creations are mixed together. You will find her hidden behind her sewing machine either repairing clothes or tailoring her own designs. Prices are affordable and the selection of pieces is beyond special. It is also possible to buy or save garments on the website (www.nekovintageclothes.com).
As Sants market is located nearby, you can go and visit this modernist jewel inaugurated in 1913 and designed by the architect Pere Falqués that nowadays is a meeting place for the residents of the neighbourhood.
