The authentic Napolitan pizza has arrived to Barcelona. It has been a success since the pizzeria opened its doors. And it makes sense because they prepare the best pizzas we tried in the city. L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele it’s here!
The Condurro family started making pizzas in 1870 in the hearth of central Napoli. Michele Condurro, son of Salvatore, improved the family craft by learning the secrets from the famous masters of Torre Annunziata, experts in the making of pasta and the cooking of pizza. Michele opened the first pizzeria in 1906, where today the new Ascalesi Hospital building stands, whose construction forced Michele to move away. In fact, in 1930, the pizzeria was moved to its current placement at Via Cesare Sersale, which many experts and journalists consider “the Sacred Temple of Pizza”.
Now, their brought their tradition and knowledge to the center of Barcelona and you can travel quickly to Napoli thanks to their food.
We recommend, as a starter, Don Luigi, Fried pizza knots served with Campania tomato sauce and buffalo “straciatella” cheese and as a main dish, a Marguerita with double mozzarella.
