There’s coffee… and COFFEE. In one of the most beautiful alleys of Barcelona, the one called Passatge Sert, located right in the centre of the city and Born and near Plaça Urquinaona, you can find a small and beautiful space called Nomad Coffee. The smell of roasted coffee will embrace you right after going inside. No doubt you can taste one of the best coffees in Barcelona here. Jordi Mestre, the award-winning barista and ideologist of this oasis, wanted to create not only a cafeteria, but also a laboratory. He conceived this place to do research in the art of coffee and to offer new possibilities to coffee addicts.
With a cosy atmosphere and a certain Nordic touch, the smell of coffee can be smelled from far away. It is small but there is enough space to sit down, rest and enjoy one of its coffees.
In order to control every phase of the process, they have decided to do everything themselves (or almost everything): they roast, serve, distribute and form coffee, and also play, try it and advise on it. And that’s something you can certainly notice. You will find varieties of coffee that change depending on the season so there’s always the best product in Nomad Coffee. Let yourself be advised and dare to try everything they offer: a good espresso, a flat white, an Aeropress or a cold brew if you want to cool off. But please, do it without sugar. A good coffee doesn’t need it.
