We all love sandwiches. They’re delicious, versatile, easy to eat and to make. And it is obvious that the brains behind Entrepanes Díaz (Kim Díaz) thinks the same.
The bar, located on Diagonal street, is small and beautiful. Decorated in a nostalgic fashion, there is lively music and pictures and mirrors fill the walls. Kind waiters will sit down next to you to give you some suggestions or to simply ask how you are doing. That’s very much appreciated. On top of that, they are old school and they’re all over 50 years old, that’s a house rule. The savoir faire is all around.
The sandwiches you can eat here are different from anywhere else. You can tell that they are signature sandwiches. Little pleasures between a slice of bread. Is there anything better? We tried the one made with kokotxas. It was delicious, soft and balanced. We also ordered the one with rabo, which is a very soft and tasty meat. This is the kind of bar that makes you feel nice and special. So you’re always coming back.
